It’s a busy time for the Writers Group as we’re taking part in the Kirkintilloch Creative Arts Festival.
On Tuesday 15th, Jennifer MacDonald of Creative Spark Theatre Arts will be running an in-person workshop in Lennoxtown Library. She will be taking us through some structured and free writing exercises. The meeting will run from 1.00 – 2.30pm.
The festival is being held in St Ninians Church Hall, Kirkintilloch, over the following weekend. We’ll be doing a presentation on Sunday 20th from 1.30 to 2.00pm.
After that, we’ll be holding our regular meeting in Lennoxtown Library at 1.00pm on Monday 21st. The exercise will be to write a 500 word story using the prompt ‘On this day’. The stories may be added to an online resource which will be part of Edinburgh International Book Festival.
